SDG&E expands 2026 heat pump rebate to include hybrid water heaters
San Diego Gas & Electric's 2026 Home Energy Savings Program now covers heat pump water heaters up to $1,500 rebate on top of the existing heat pump HVAC rebates. The federal 25C tax credit ended for systems installed after December 31, 2025, so 2026 savings come from the utility and state programs only.
